Glittery PTI

Today I learned that blogger only lets you upload five photos and I had six cards to share, so I paired them up to take pictures. I have talked about the glitter window technique and wondered how it would look with the little tiny treats stamps from Papertrey Ink. There also was a discussion on the boards about glitter explosions (I have a friend who has to avoid those) and I thought about a way to make a glitter card, glitter free.
What I dod for these was stamp the images on acetate then punch them out using a 1 3/8" circle punch. After I stamped the surrounding frame I punched a 1 1/4" circle in the center of the cardstock, then glued my glittered image, glitter side down into the hole. Then I glued a white circle of cardstock behind the glittered circle so the image would be framed in white and also, it captures the glitter because the entire thing is glued inside . . . if that makes sense. I had fun pairing up papers and embellishments with these. Thanks for looking.
Stamps: PTI Tiny Treats, Polka Dots or Hearts backgrounds

These are absolutely adorable! I love how you made a whole set with the same design but they are still so different. I hope your "friend" likes this technique of using glitter.

BTW, to get more than 5 pics on blogger, once you upload your 5, you can go back into the picture upload gizmo & upload up to 5 more at a time. I'm pretty sure I learned that accidentally! LOL!

What a great way to corral glitter and make less of a mess. These are super cute. There have been so many glitter cards these past few days showing up on blogs. I think it's a conspiracy to get me to try it. ;)

These are just wonderful! Such fun designs and colors, and I love how you did the little round "window", I never think to do windows on any of my cards but I must try it one of these days!

What a clever way to "contain" the glitter! I'll have to give that a try. Your entire card set is sooo cute!

This is a great technique. When I've sent glittered cards, I always wonder if they still have any glitter by the time they get to the recipient. :) My favorite is the lemon. That looks so neat glittered.

Finally getting a chance to stop by and visit you.
They are all very cute! I especially like the bright colors and the glitter windows. Next time you want to put more than 5 photos on your blog try making a collage in Picknic it is a lot easier. I also wanted to say so glad to be a part of the Papertrey Peeps group with you.
