Stampin sisters in Christ challenge challenge 151...babies or pastel

Good evening stampers! I am late for our Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge; I was out of town and my photo for the challenge lives inside the computer. I didn't remember that until a bit late!

We are pleased to welcome Denami Design as a new sponsor this week, and I used one of their cute owl stamps, cutting them out to pop them up on my card for this week's challenge, to either make a baby card or use pastel colors. I chose to use pastels and tried to paint my owls to match, using Stampin' Up water color crayons. Love that set, gifted to me by a special person years ago. Sentiment on the side is from a set by Papertrey Ink.

Our hostess this week is lovely Sandie, who selected this verse from I Peter 2:2&3 ...as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

You can hop onto our home page to find the lovely samples by the rest of the design team and read Sandie's thoughts on her chosen verse, right here! Thanks for stopping by and hope you can play along this week!

Beautiful card. I love the different colored pastel squares paired with those adorable little owls. I love how one of them has really long legs. It makes me think of our own uniqueness.
