I had a sudden, late meeting at work on the phone and was afraid I wouldn't get to participate but I had a little bit of time to craft this evening after work was done, whew! I love white on white and am excited about looking at everyone else's creations, but I didn't peep beforehand because I had an idea of my own in my head and I didn't want to mess it up. :)
The one thing about white on white is it is extremely hard for me to photograph. Card number two was actually my first idea, and I wanted to incorporate the die cut of 'blessed' but then it just didn't fit.
So the set I used is PTI 'Through the Trees' one of my favorites. On the inside of the card I finish the sentiment to say blessed...to have you in my life. I am making cards for the ladies in my small group from church. Got to use lots of glitter; it mimics the abundant snow we have outside our window.
I stamped the cluster of trees in versamark and embossed in white, then added some slivers of glitter to mimic snow clinging to the trees and branches. The bird is stamped in red, to stand out, like the cardinals that will come to visit us in about a month's time.
Thanks for looking and happy hopping.
