I am trying to be more aware of people that I know could use some cheer and sending them cards. I love reading these posts from you. I come away with something that I needed every single time. Thanks for the time and effort you put into writing them. The people of Japan are on my heart as well.Gina Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12063774965778031351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253021028807666294.post-20688405401741156362011-03-17T00:48:09.293-04:002011-03-17T00:48:09.293-04:00Peggysue - what a beautiful card to share your ear...Peggysue - what a beautiful card to share your earthly treasures on - and what beautiful words to remind us that they aren't where our hearts should be. So many lives have been touched recently by sorrow. And your thoughts for your friend made this tragic time so much more personal for me, reading this post! LOL Anyway, it is touching how you used the paper and stamp for this. I have a ton of washi paper I have hoarded and I was just thinking now is the perfect time to use it. Thanks for the inspiration. :) Also, thanks for the prayers for Japan. One of our antique dealers was from Sendai and our contacts there have not been able to get in touch with him. I hope he and his family are in a shelter. I can picture his smiling face and remember vividly the kokeshi dolls and glass floats I bought from him. :(The Mama Monkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10003619889137185873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253021028807666294.post-26062125710705360202011-03-15T18:16:03.533-04:002011-03-15T18:16:03.533-04:00Hey Peggysue!

I thought of Siobhan as well while listening to the horrible tragedy in Japan, knowing that it must be tough on her. It is so sobering to think how things can change in that instant and how important it is to live your life accordingly.

Beautiful card - I'm so glad to be catching up :)Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05821054532810248534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253021028807666294.post-86867404910927157602011-03-15T15:08:05.341-04:002011-03-15T15:08:05.341-04:00Peggysue, my heart is still breaking for Japan. A great reminder not to take life for granted and not hoard for tomorrow that we aren't guarenteed. Such pretty paper. The stamp you've used looks much like one of the castles/temples that you see a lot in Japan and the papers you've used are amazing, almost looks like pieces of a Kimono. Have a blessed week!!
