I like sketch challenges, obviously! And this is for the sketch challenge posted weekly on Wednesday on SCS. I just ordered the Life stamp set from Papertrey Ink and this provided a great format to try it out. If you can see it, I stamped 'life' in white over the flowers, matching up the sentiments. We have life because Jesus rose and died for our sins, so the two seemed to go together.
I am not completely convinced I like this particular color combination I put together, but it was kind of one of those things where you've got it all cut and stamped and then you're committed! :) For the small square sentiment I stamped off the Papertrey Hibiscus ink first so you get the shadow image or lighter version of the color behind the sentiment. It is a very strong pink! Thanks for looking.

Peggysue, I think this is a beautiful card! I love the connection of the sentiments - it's so true. And I love how the "He is Risen" is next to the flower vines, which are moving upward, as if to signify His rise! Just beautiful, as always!

This is a beautiful card. I like your color combination. I haven't had great success with stamping off with hybrid inks. Is there a trick I don't know?
