Joanne always frames her panels in black, for a very striking setting. Her creations are lovely and you can find lots of information and beautiful cards on her blog here.
I like to tease Joanne about glitter, because I brought a project once to a gathering to show everyone how to make the glitter window without knowing that Joanne has an eye condition that causes her to completely avoid glitter. So you can guess what happened . . . we had a glitter explosion which covered her head to toe in glitter.
Glitter window is time consuming but always produces a very sparkly, pretty result. Simple instructions for glitter window . . .
1. Stamp your image on acetate.
2. Using Art Institute dries clear glue, apply one color of glitter at a time.
3. Allow it to dry at LEAST fifteen minutes inbetween applying the next color of glitter. This is a great project to do when you have lots of little housework chores, set the timer, go about your business and when the timer beeps, go back and apply the next color.
4. Flip your image over and use glue dots or brads to attach the acetate to the layer underneath.
This also fits the Midnight Madness sketch challenge for the week, MMSC15 on Priscilla Styles blog. Thanks for looking.

That is such a great card. I love the colors you used.
GLITTER!!! How appropriate. I love the card you did to honor her. Very neat!!
I'm so glad you included instructions here again. I've seen the technique, but lost the directions I copied. Yours is super-duper cute and I bet it's dazzling IRL. It's fab!
Your card is gorgeous and so glitzy.....and I got just the biggest giggle from your use of all the glitter......and in your telling of the story you were so kind...you didn't say how stupid I was to get the glitter all over me......when I wasn't even touching the glitter....lol...
Wow, PS, this is an awesome card.
I love all the glitter!! And what a cool sketch to use for this glamourized birthday card, Peggysue!
Do you have an online source for this glue...you can't get it at a Michael's or Hobby Lobby, right?
Still need to purchase some.
That is beautiful! I have never made one of these before and am probably not patient enough to ever complete one but this is just gorjuss :)
OMW this is just stunning!! Seriously, this is just gorgeous. Your glitter story is funny! I hope your friend was OK after the explosion!
