Do you see my smiling daughter? Do you see her smiling with someone else? Tonight we have happy family news! My dear oldest daughter is engaged to a wonderful young man she has been dating for seven(?) years. He is a part of the family already and now it is just going to be official. I will wait until someone with better photography skills than I possess can take a close up of the ring, it is gorgeous. But not as gorgeous to me as those two smiling faces.
The only one who is a bit sad is my youngest daughter, who is only eight and thinks this will take away her big sister, who is very, very special to her. She wants them to come live with us when they are married. :)

She is so beautiful, Peggysue, and I don't think the ring even matters, but you are right about their smiles!! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you, to the happy couple, and even little sis who may have a new playmate down the road!!
Woo-hoo! This is such exciting news! I'm so happy for you, your dd & her fiance! Maybe little sis will look forward to having a new brother, and as Traci said a new niece or nephew down the road! Your daughter is beautiful!
