Good afternoon! Had to do some traveling which takes me away from my ink and stamps. I am happy to be back and had a fun time playing along with the challenge photo for the Papertrey Ink customer blog hop. I had more ideas than time to create. My vision never seems to equate to ability, but with practice hopefully I'll get closer each time.
I was inspired by the floral clusters and the watercolor look. Instead of doing an outline and a watercolor wash I thought I'd give my distress markers a try at coloring on the stamp, spritzing and then pressing direct to paper. I saw a demonstration video by Julie Ebersole and although I own different markers, they watercolor too and I thought I'd try it. Like I said, more practice..
The first one I watercolored on cream colored cardstock and odd thing is it looks white in the photo. It isn't. The second I watercolored on watercolor paper.
Thanks for looking and happy hopping.

Love both of your cards especially the first one!
Peggysue, both cards are beautiful, and I especially like the first one as the blue tag really makes the images pop. I've never had good luck using that technique either so should try it more often.
These are gorgeous!
Both turned out so lovely...you've been doing such beautiful cards and your use of Scripted Sentiments should encourage me to pull mine out...the embossing really makes them pop!!
