Quilted hearts

The log cabin quilt design is so versatile. I have long wanted to try to make a 'heart' quilt with this stamp and the past few days have played with color combinations. I hope you like them, let me know which of the three you like best.
I used Copic Ciao markers to color the squares.  I tried the layout both with a scalloped nestability backdrop and without. I fussed for quite a while with the standard card size but for the pattern took up too much space for my taste, so switched to a business envelope sized card. That gave ample space for the design and the sentiment without crowding.
I have used my SU Beyond the Basics stamp set more times than I can count. And it reminds me so much of a tiny print calico pattern. Thanks for looking.
Green and pink heart: Copic Ciao markers, PTI Quilter's Sampler set, SU Beyond the Basics, SU Pretty in Pink, Black Stazon, Ribbon, Cuttlebug "Frills" Border emboss, 3/4" square punch
Orange Heart: Copic Ciao markers, PTI Quilter's Sampler Set, PTI Polka Dot Basics, PTI Sweet Blush, Guava ribbon, Basic Grey Scoops brad, 3/4" square punch
Yellow and Pink: Copic Ciao markers, PTI Quilter's Sampler set, SU Beyond the Basics, SU Pretty in Pink, Black Stazon, Ribbon, 3/4" square punch, rectangle scalloped nestability

That is a tough question to answer - they are all so nice. If I have to choose, I think the first one - done in Green. I like them all though.

Just stopping by from the SCS blogger group # 11. Looking forward to getting to know you and sharing lots of creativity and ideas.

This is such a cool stamp I love it, great job of coloring on these as well...I think I like the orange one best.

I'd have to say I like the green one the best. But then I am partial to green. I think I love the way the colors play off of each other. They make each other pop. But they all are realy nice. Makes me want to get that set even more!

So pretty Peggysue! I like the top one the best, but like the scalloped part of the bottom one. They are all great though...easier than quilting with fabric I think, but the same idea. Love it.

What a great way to use that stamp set. They all look great, but if I picked a favorite, I think it would be the middle one.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you through the Surfin' Oceans 11 group.

These are great! hmm...I think the red one for me just cause they are traditional "love" colors but they are all pretty.

Your coloring is impeccable!

OMGoodness PeggySue! I love them all! As a quilter I just adore this PTI set and it's on my very short list... plus the add on set! I love them all but that top one really pops the heart out of the background so well... But any one you want to send would put a smile on my face!!! LOL! Love the baby quilt you did too! Awesome work my friend!
